Show Notes

Welcome to Episode 10 of the Rogue Startups Podcast.  This week is coming to you LIVE from Las Vegas.  Dave brought the podcasting mic along with him to Microconf, a popular “self funded” conference put on by Rob Walling and Mike Taber every year.  Microconf is THE place to go every April to connect with other founders who are creating online businesses and doing it without the typical startup funding methods.

At the conference he connects with Ken Wallace from the Nights and Weekends Podcast to interview a handful of founders who were also at the conference.  There are some real gems from these candid interviews.

This is a two-parter.  In the first part of the episode they interview Jordan Scherer of MinimalReader and Adrian Rosebrock of PyImageSearch to talk about their journey as solo startup founders.

Part 2 of the interview is with Hiten Shah of KissMetrics and CrazyEgg, Brecht Polumbo of DistressedPro and the Bootstrapped With Kids Podcast, and Einar Vollset of ProductizedConsulting and gets into a lot of their thoughts around taking funding, a higher purpose of our lives outside of business, and what our responsibilities are as business owners.

If you enjoyed the show today please head over to iTunes and leave us a 5-star review.  Those reviews help us to get great guests and provide awesome content for you.  Thanks so much!
